Delivering Safer Homes Through Connected Housing & Repairs Intelligence
Identify damp & mould earlier. Deliver better repairs. Strengthen Awaab's Law compliance. Prevent harm.
What Drives Us
Housing isn't just about managing properties. It's also about protecting people & giving them a place to call home which helps them thrive.
Every year, thousands of lives are affected by housing conditions that could have been identified and addressed earlier. Around 4,950 excess winter deaths are attributed to living in cold homes. During the 2022 summer heatwave, England experienced an estimated 2,985 heat-associated deaths.
Children living in homes affected by damp and mould are significantly more likely to suffer respiratory illness. Behind every statistic is a person, a family and a home.
We believe much of this harm is preventable.
The warning signs often exist long before a crisis occurs—in repairs history, resident interactions, complaints, inspections and operational data. When those signals are connected, understood and acted upon early, housing providers can intervene sooner, prioritise resources more effectively and prevent avoidable harm before it escalates.
Our mission is to help housing providers move beyond managing houses towards protecting homes and the people who live in them. By giving frontline teams better intelligence, clearer priorities and stronger evidence, we help deliver better repairs, strengthen Awaab's Law compliance and ensure limited resources are focused where they can make the greatest difference.
Because better homes create healthier people, stronger communities and better opportunities for life.
We're not just helping organisations manage housing. We're helping them protect the people who call it home.
Better Decisions. Better Repairs. Safer Homes.
Every housing provider wants the same outcome—safe, healthy homes where residents receive the right intervention at the right time.
Our mission is to help make that possible by enabling earlier intervention through connected data, intelligent insight and AI-powered operational decision support. We believe that preventable resident harm is rarely a single event. It is often the result of small warning signs being missed across fragmented systems, disconnected teams and reactive processes. By connecting those signals earlier, housing providers can prioritise risk more effectively, improve repairs performance and prevent issues from escalating into complaints, regulatory intervention or resident harm.
The Challenge Isn't More Data
Every housing provider already holds valuable operational data. The real opportunity lies in enriching it with wider intelligence and turning it into better operational decisions.
By combining repairs history, complaints, inspections and resident interactions with external intelligence such as EPC data, environmental factors, public health research, climate modelling, behavioural signals and predictive risk models, Engage-Me creates a continuously evolving picture of housing risk.
This enriched intelligence not only identifies hidden vulnerability and predicts emerging issues, but also helps housing providers take the right action—prioritising repairs, improving triage, supporting first-time fix, reducing failure demand and directing resources to where they will have the greatest impact. By bridging operational intelligence with operational delivery, Engage-Me helps organisations deliver better repairs while preventing resident harm before it occurs.
Prevention Is Better Than Reaction
The greatest opportunity in social housing isn't responding faster once problems have escalated—it's identifying the warning signs early enough to prevent them.
Every repeat repair, damp & mould case, complaint and compliance failure is often preceded by detectable operational and behavioural signals. By identifying those signals sooner, housing providers can intervene earlier, prioritise limited resources more effectively and prevent avoidable resident harm.
Why This Matters
Better housing isn't simply measured by compliance KPIs.
Every earlier intervention means a child isn't living with damp and mould for another winter. Every first-time fix means fewer missed appointments, less disruption and greater trust. Every risk identified before it escalates reduces pressure on frontline teams and creates capacity to help the next family who needs support. Better operational intelligence doesn't just improve repairs performance. It helps create healthier homes, stronger communities and better life opportunities by ensuring limited housing resources are focused where they can make the greatest difference.
Why I Started Engage-Me
Engage-Me was founded on a simple belief: better information leads to better decisions, and better decisions help deliver better outcomes for both landlords & residents.
Technology alone doesn't solve housing problems.
But when it helps people understand risk earlier, prioritise resources more effectively and intervene before harm occurs, it has the potential to provide healthier homes & change lives.
